Existing Clients
If you are an existing client of Blue Box Software and you encounter any problems with your site then please let us know. If you would like to make simple changes then the support team will be happy to discuss this with you. Drop them an e-mail with your thoughts to support@blueboxsoftware.com.
If you have major changes to make then please speak to thomas.ives@blueboxsoftware.com who deals with project management.
New Clients
If you need support but you are not an existing client of Blue Box Software then please get in touch with thomas.ives@blueboxsoftware.com. Once the formalities are dealt with the reliable support we offer will be available to you.
Our Support Team
All e-mails to support@blueboxsoftware.com land in the support mail box which is checked regularly by the support team; made up of our four web developers. The first hour of each day is dedicated to answering and fulfilling support requests from the previous day.
We are very proud of our websites and software so if anything goes wrong please let us know. If we are at fault then there will be no charge.
Please E-mail Us
Sending an e-mail support request has various benefits over a phone call for both parties;
- It provides a record for both parties of when the request was logged.
- It is a record of instruction that can be easily relayed and forwarded.
- It is checked regularly by several support staff, providing you with the quickest response.
- It can record an excellent summary of the problem, for example:
- Details of task you were performing, what you had clicked, what went wrong and when.
- If a problem is specific - such as a page that will not work for a particular user - please provide us with as much detail as possible, including, for example, the individual’s username.
- For problems which are hard to describe, but easier to demonstrate, providing a screenshot is beneficial. This can be done by pressing the 'Print Screen' key (usually toward the top right corner of the keyboard) when you can see the problem or error on screen. You can then paste this screen grab image into Word, Paint or Photoshop, save the file and attach it to your e-mail.
